About this Cook
I'm Puerto Rican, I was born in Manhattan NY and raised in Bronx NY. I just got married to a beautiful man who shares my passion for cooking. I just recently moved to South Carolina from NYC. Big change but very laid back. I have no children and hoping one day I'll have one so I can have one more person to cook for. I love any type of competition cooking show! I love love love Chef Ramsey! He is my favorite chef! If not watching cooking shows I'm a big fan of almost any type of reality shows long as it isn't corny or boring. If I'm not cooking and watching TV, I'm a HUGE gamer! I love playing Playstation! You can never be too old to enjoy a good game of TombRaider or Resident Evil! Hehehe!
My favorite things to cook
I;m Puerto Rican so I love cooking my type of food, I also love cooking Steaks, Casseroles, Pork Chops, Roasts and trying different sides.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Puerto Rican food! We make our own Sofrito which is a Spanish seasoning, It's great for everything from stews to soups.
My cooking triumphs
Every time I cook a meal I never did before and it comes out delish that is always a triumph for me!
My cooking tragedies
I can say it's when I over salt things, it doesn't happen often at all but when it does it's sometimes hard to bring it back! So taste taste taste!

Garlic Aioli
DELISH! Only thing I did was add a few tablespoons of sour cream and cilantro! Tastes absolutely great on a burger!

Meatloaf with Sour Cream Sauce
Wow, I made this tonight & it was great! I just did a few changes mentioned earlier; I did not use Dill or Celery. I used scallions, onions, garlic, Sirloin Ground Beef, Mixed sour cream & Onion soup mix. For the gravy I did use the cream of mushroom soup with the other 1/2 of the Sour cream mix & added like 3 tablespoons of Brown gravy. Added milk to thin the gravy just a bit. Amazing with mash potatoes!! Thanks for this great recipe!
