Chickpea Curry

I am definitely going to make it again, but this time, I'm going to rehydrate garbanzo beans, instead of using canned. Somehow, this didn't taste like much and had to add more spice. I'm not counting this recipe out, but if I find it didn't taste any better with fresh chickpeas, I'm done with this recipe!

Cinnamon Pie

There is nothing good about this recipe. It was runny to begin with and the suggestion of using a glass pie plate doesn't help this recipe at all. HOW ONE TEASPOON OF CINNAMON is supposed to make this a cinnamon pie, I'll never know. Sorry, but it tasted like nothing.

Non-Edible Cinnamon Ornaments

Although it rolled out nicely and smelled really great (I'm a cinnamon fanatic), truthfully? Cinnamon is too expensive to use 1 full cup for a recipe like this. Sorry! My friend and I tried this out with her own ingredients. No way was I going to waste my cinnamon and money trying this recipe.

I think this was a good recipes and personally, I welcome everyone's opinion on changing it and how they made it better. Some people just can't be pleased. But this is a good recipe! Change is good.

Italian Dressing Mix

I wanted to comment on this, because after following the recipe I added other dried ingredients that were in my pantry that work well in salad dressings that were not listed on this recipe. To be honest with you, I love this Italian dressing and will no longer buy ready made from the store. Not only are they expensive, but they contain so many unwanted ingredients; some with MSG! Yuck! As an added perk, I make extra and keep the DRY ingredients in a clean spice jar, so when I need to it for salads or a maranade, I take out as much as I need or to taste. One more thing, use extra virgin olive oil. Its so much better that way! But again, it's up to everyone's taste and preference!

World's Best Lasagna

I don't know who came up with this recipe, but thank you, thank you, thank you! This is a great recipe for those who have never made Lasagna before. It can get very time consuming and sort of expensive if you make this all the time, but you always have enough for left-overs or to freeze. So far, I've only made this twice. Actually, the second time, I used close to 3 lbs of everything. Unfortunately, there are only two of us, so we were eating for days and still had some left over to freeze. But it was well worth it. The first time I made this, I found an andouje sausage and it was great. I can't find it so I used the sweet Italian. To me, it made it too sweet, so hot italian will be my next choice. But first....we have to finish what's frozen!!

Japanese Chicken Wings

I have been making this recipe for several years and I just love it. The only thing wrong with this recipe is that for my taste, I have to double the sauce. We love a lot of sauce on our food. Another bad thing is, that we never have enough for the next day:-)!!

ABC (Absolute Best Chewy) Chocolate Chippers

This recipe can be improved if she used something other than regular all purpose flour. I won't share that, because it's my trade secret, but I will say this, the half and half does absolutely nothing for the recipe and more egg yolks would make it more chewy. Egg whites dry out dough!
