Amazingly Good Eggnog
Made this for the first time this Thanksgiving. Like the flavor, but the vanilla is too overpowering, almost like I'm drinking a vanilla milkshake (I left out the rum). Next time I will cut back on the vanilla and increase the other spices to see what that does. Also had some curdling issues but resolved them by mixing on high speed while on ice water (thanks to one of the reviewers here for the tip!). Will try au bain marie next time. All in all a good recipe, but needs some adjustment to suit my taste.
