We really liked it, great to give as gifts also. I decreased the sugar because I like more tart than sweet. I used dark brown sugar and cider vinegar so that made the relish quite dark in color. I used it as a sandwich spread instead of mayo/Miracle Whip.

Zesty Grilled Garlic-Herb Chicken

This had a good flavor. I used about 1/3 c of brown sugar, no saffron and cut back on the oil. I'll cut the oil back even more next time, maybe 2/3 c. Husband liked this easy dish.

Oatmeal Sourdough Rolls

Very nice. Light and fluffy. I cut the recipe in half, used 1/2 the amount of butter and put melted butter on top of rolls when taken out of the oven. Will make again.

Fisherman's Quick Fish

I made this with regular Italian dressing, pepper jack cheese and crushed up Rice Krispies. I baked it with smashed potatoes for 25 min. @ 450. My and I husband loved it! It's our new favorite one to use with fish. Thank you Karena

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Wonderful. Made these like written except added 1 cup dark chocolate chips. Will decrease the nutmeg next time, a little too much for us. Try eating them warmed up, they're great on a crisp fall day.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Not that great of flavor. You can taste the lime but that's about all. Easy to make though. I'll stick with the ones that you marinade.

Wonderful brownies! Great texture, just right for the fudge factor. Did use dark chocolate because that's our favorite. No more boxed mixes for us. :)

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

I sliced the loin into 1" slices, left it in marinade 9 hours then baked for 1 hr. Was tender, but no raves from the family.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Soft and tender slices. Did use 2 c. ww flour and 1 c. white flour. Used honey instead of sugar. Will make again. Great toasted also.

It's Chili by George!!

My family loved it. It was thick and hearty perfect for a Minnesota cold night. I had to make some changes because I was out of a few ingredients. So forgive me from deviating from the original recipe. I used 1 can of Great Northern beans, 2 pints stewed tomatoes with onions and peppers and 1 pt. tomato juice. I also threw in some red pepper flakes because I was out of cayenne. I put it in the crockpot to simmer all day.

Cranberry Upside-Down Coffee Cake

I made this for Christmas brunch plus 2 others for gifts. All 3 turned out wonderful. Such an easy recipe to put together. I added more cranberries and used 1/2 whole wheat flour 1/2 white flour with no difference in taste. Make sure you put in a greased springform pan.

Cheesy Potatoes I

My husband loved these. I changed a few things: used mozz. cheese because that's what I had and didn't use the milk, added a couple splashes of half and half instead. Will have again, might even try layering ham next time.

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

Blueberry Coffee Cake III

The cake was good, but will probably not make it again. The Blueberry Buttermilk Coffeecake on this site was a tad better and easier to make. The batter was too thick, I added milk to the thick batter. It was not as moist as others I have made. The gals I had over for coffee liked it.

Pasta Pomodoro

What a nice quick dish to make. Didn't use the broth, just used a can of diced tomatoes. Also added a cutup chicken breast. A must have again.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Excellent soup! I skipped the sherry, almonds and celery family preferences. I did mix the flour with some broth to make a roux then added it to the soup. I didn't want lumps. I simmered it for more than an hour and the guys came running to eat. Yum, will make again
