About this Cook
I was a newlywed when i first came to this site. I knew only a few things too cook.. you know. like hamburger helper and hot dogs.. lol. But I'm so glad I've bookmarked this site! It has introduced us to some awesome meals! And now that I'm a mom, I'm going to make sure that my little boy gets some nice home-cooked meals.. (once he gets past the formula stage.)
My cooking triumphs
I had a whole bunch of veggies that I didnt know what to do with so I took a couple cans of my mom's canned tomatoes and canned venison, and mixed them all together with a few spices and made a huge pot of the best soup I've ever made! I never measured for the veggies or the spices so who knows if I can ever duplicate it.
My cooking tragedies
Home ec.. 10th grade.. never knew i could burn butter but the entire classroom was full of smoke..

Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts
I didn't have all of the spices so I used Mrs. Dash as an alternative. It turned out great! It's very easy to make and my husband agrees, we are keeping this recipe around!!

Strawnana Bread
I had a bunch of strawberries and bananas left over from making a fruit salad the other day and wanted to find a new recipe to try and found this one. I'm pretty new to making breads so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. It was very easy and it turned out great!
