I was a newlywed when i first came to this site. I knew only a few things too cook.. you know. like hamburger helper and hot dogs.. lol. But I'm so glad I've bookmarked this site! It has introduced us to some awesome meals! And now that I'm a mom, I'm going to make sure that my little boy gets some nice home-cooked meals.. (once he gets past the formula stage.) I had a whole bunch of veggies that I didnt know what to do with so I took a couple cans of my mom's canned tomatoes and canned venison, and mixed them all together with a few spices and made a huge pot of the best soup I've ever made! I never measured for the veggies or the spices so who knows if I can ever duplicate it. Home ec.. 10th grade.. never knew i could burn butter but the entire classroom was full of smoke..
