being the gf of a man in the military can be a real test of love!

he got a hey-you request and had to stay later at work - what do you do when you have to hold dinner for two hours

it's call a crock pot

i took the pork chops and gravy i had made placed them into the crock pot to simmer together

the rice was easy as it was in a microsteam bag (man do i love those smaller packages which is more than enough for two and some leftovers for the next day)

corn also in a microsteam bag was still in the freezer

what does all this mean - i got to spend two hours doing other things around the house

and when he got there - tired man that he was - he said he loved the meal

so girls if you are taking notes there are ways to handle being the gf of a soldier and still looking like a star - class is now dismissed - lol

You just have to remember they own him 24/7 and the hey-you's are just a part of the deal!
