Hot Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
Brought this sauce with my threaded chicken strips to a Bronco game and every piece was gobbled up and people even poured the extra sauce on their burger after we ate all the chicken! Delish!

Basic Brine for Smoking Meat

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
We doubled the recipe to brine 4 chicken leg quarters overnight. We threw the legs in a pan and put the pan in the smoker the next day. A few hours later, we ate the most delectable, fall off the bone tender chicken ever made! Delicious! Can't wait to try it with a turkey this Thanksgiving!

Bierrocks II

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
This was great, easy and delicious. You are basically making your own "Hot Pocket". I used pizza dough in a can and it worked wonderfully. Spiced it a little more, used a bit of garlic, cayenne, cumin and chili powder. YUM!

This is an excellent, easy recipe. We used cannellini beans and skipped the boullion cubes and it turned out perfect.

Didn't use the onion but everyone loved this at our Oktoberfest party. Served it with the Oktoberfest potato salad from this site. The leftovers were delicious too!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
We love this recipe in our house. I have made it with the crescent roll as suggested and also with the canned pizza dough and both are absolutely delicious. Great way to use up leftover chicken and really easy to put together. Excellent!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2007
This makes a delicious chicken breast! I used chicken broth instead of the boullion/boiling water combo and it turned out great! I also used a lot of lemon juice but only a hint of it came through. Definitely not too overpowering. Excellent!

Artichoke Wonton Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
This recipe is wonderful! My only change is to take the amount of mayo and halve it, substituting plain yogurt for the other half. A little healthier and nobody can taste the difference. My wonton wrappers took a little longer to brown than directions stated. The cups are gooey and delicious! Thanks!

Easy Rum Cake

Super easy cake to make. I used light rum and it turned out so moist and delicious. I also used butter instead of oil in the batter and it was divine. I took it to a camping party and it was devoured in no time!

This is terrific. Much like a crust-less quiche. I had to cook mine a bit longer to get the middle done. Yum!

Artichoke Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2007
This turned out great. I usually substitute plain yogurt for mayo and did so again in this recipe. I ended up making a double batch and had a lot left over so I threw in some cut up cooked chicken and heated in the microwave for lunch the next day. Great!

Chinese Cold Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
We love this recipe. I'm going to break the rules and rate it 5 stars even though I didn't make it exactly as written. I didn't put any red bell pepper slices, green onions or cilantro (am I the only one who doesn't like cilantro?) in it, but I added cooked chicken. My husband requests this one often!
