Easy French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Terrible. Way to much milk. I didn't even use half the recommended amount and it was still a soupy, soggy disaster. I will never forget to read the reviews again!

Mexican Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Delicious! I made a few changes though which I think reapply improved the dish. First, we made our own taco seasoning to give the dish more flavor - my husband throws it together ;) Second, I added a can of corn (which I highly recommend). Third, I used spicy refried beans to give it a little kick. Finally I tipped with sour cream while eating. Definitely a keeper!

No Bake Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Pretty good. Easy recipe that my husband enjoyed. Beware that the filling will NOT foot into a premade crust. I used a crust with approximately 2 extra servings and it worked perfectly. I've definitely had better and will probably keep looking for my favorite no-bake recipe, but this was good enough that I would be willing to make it again :)

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
GREAT!! My parents and kids loved it! I added garlic powder, onion salt, and a few other spices. I added a bit more cheese, some milk to make it creamier (about 1/2 cup), I used canned corn and canned peas, and I also used a bit of miracle whip to make it a bit tangier. Oh, and I used corn chips on top! My mom decided to put some soy sauce on it, and it was so good I decided to hve another helping just so I could have some with soy sauce :] (3 or 4 stars as written, but with adjustments a definite 5!!)

Butterscotch Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
GREAT!! I changed it a bit. I used a whole bag of white choc. chips. I melted all the chips and 1/4 cup butter in microwave, heating for 30 sec., stirring, repeating until melted. Ten I added to sweetened condensed milk. I heated it to 234 degrees F. (it was boiling). It turned out AMAZING!! everyone loved it (it was a bit sweet, but we like that :])

Macaroni and Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
I give it as written... BUT... After my alterations, it would be a 4 or 5 star :] I added a couple cups of shredded cheese to the mixture and I added a scoop or two of sour cream and a scoop or two of mayonaise. I added about 20 oz of noodles instead of 16. I added some onion and garlic spices, and ome of my own special spice. I topped with sliced cheese. Oh, and my biggest change--I cut up some kielbasa and leftover cheese brauts... I wanted to make it a more complete meal... everyone loved it, definitely a keeper!! :D P.S. I used two slightly smaller pans, it was OVERFLOWING out of the one recommended.

Easy Cheesy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2009
BEWARE OF THE OODLES OF NOODLES!!! You do NOT need that much! This was great! I added a few chunks of Velveeta, an extra can of cream of mushroom soup, and an extra can of tuna. I also added a few spices and some garlic. I used Rigatoni noodles and I topped it with some parmesan cheese and shredded cheddar. Almost forgot- I used only 12 ounces of noodles, which may have been a bit much (even with the extra can of soup), next time I may only use 10.

Meat Filled Manicotti

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
Trying to stuff this manicotti always is my downfall. It tastes great even though the noodles are often torn for me. I love this recipe! I add Alpine Touch (only from Montana) and a bit of garlic. I also add a bit more spaghetti sauce. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

It was great! I forgot about the chips until I was just finishing it off, so I just put a bowl of "Tostitos Scoops" on the table, and everyone loved it! Next time I will DEFINITELY double this recipe, It was barely enough for the three kids, let alone the adults :]

15-Minute Dinner Nachos Supreme

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Great recipe!! I made it for my family of 5 and there were no leftovers. Everyone loved it. I did use a bit more meat and a little less rice. I was also out of taco seasoning so i used fajita seasoning instead, which gave it a little bit more flavor. I totally recomend that everyone try it, it's awesome!
