Nana's Beef Stroganoff
Lovely recipe! The tomato paste browns the sauce, nicely. Don't be afraid of the sauce browning/sticking to the bottom of the pan. It de-glazes perfectly when you add the sour cream and white wine. Suggestion: use two large portabella mushroom caps chopped into 1 in pieces. They will hold up better for extended cooking. I only cooked this for 45-1 hour before adding the sour cream/wine and serving. It was perfect! Thank you, Nana...

Garlic Lime Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
I was in a time bind - so I crisped chopped bacon in a large skillet. I removed the bacon and set it aside to drain in a paper towel lined colander. After pouring out the excess bacon grease, I added the marinated shrimp and chili peppers to the same skillet (the liquid from the shrimp de-glazed the bacon drippings perfectly from the bottom of the skillet.) DO NOT cook the shrimp for longer than 5 minutes, as this will make the shrimp tough and chewy. Remove from skillet and toss with crisped bacon. Plate your shrimp with lime wedges.

Bacon Horseradish Dip
This dip was excellent with grilled Tri-Tip. I agree with previous reviews that the recipe is improved with TWICE the amount of prepared horseradish (1/2 cup).
