I'm 16 years old. My dream is to one day be a pastry chef but still know how to cook. I'm taking a Boces culinary program which is 3 hours of learning culinary arts 5 days a week.
I also love art, so what I do with my cooking/ baking is that I add art to cooking. Food is beautiful, it's a work of art.
I also take cake decorating class, so far i've learn a few tricks which helps me when I want to garnish my food.
I'll get to my dream someday, it's a long journal but it's worth it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Thanksgiving my mother & I also make this amazing homemade mac & cheese, brown sugar glazed ham & sweet potato pie. I only have it on Thanksgiving so it's more special that it only comes once a year.
Around Christmas, mother & I make emapandas & tamales which we sell to all our family & friends & they love them.
