Cream Cheese Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
Perfect. Used this for a veggie pizza. I need something easy and yeast free and this was it. I did add salt like others suggested and a little water at the end to bring it together. Put it in fridge for 20 minutes to get cool again, sprinkled with flour and rolled it out. No trouble at all. Baked to golden brown for 25 minutes on a cookie sheet.

PERFECT! I used turkey (allergic to beef) and used apple cider vinegar and soy sauce. The rest the same! Freeze leftovers!

Spaghetti Olio

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
This is delicious. I modified it just a bit because I was serving it as the main dish. I added shrimp, mushrooms and tomatoes. Used 2 sticks of butter, sauteed the mushrooms until they were brown and soft, added the precooked shrimp, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder (all to taste). You could also add basil or parsley if you want, but I didn't. I also added just a drizzle of olive oil, about 1/4 cup of the pasta water and parmesan cheese. Thank you!

Fresh Cherry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This was a good starting point. Very easy and quick. I will make mine in a smaller pan next time. I used a bigger one and it was long and thin. I like thick cobbler. I added tsp. vanilla and used nutmeg (allergic to cinnamon). The rest I did exactly. I am still going to try a few others on here that I found to see how they compare; but I still really enjoyed this recipe. Thank you.

Spaghetti Sauce III

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
I was looking for a sauce I could use that didn't have parsley in it (allergy). So glad I found this...its delicious. I no longer have to struggle finding a sauce when it is this easy to make my own. Sometimes I add 3 ounces of cream cheese to it, but other than that - I follow it exactly. I like to mix it with turkey and penne and bake it in the oven on 400 for 20 minutes. It gets a nice golden top and the leftovers is just as delicious the next day.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Delicious!!!! As other reviewers stated, work with your ingredients at room temperature. It does make a difference. I didn't change anything with this recipe, and I wouldn't! Mine did cook at 325 for 1 hour 20 min. I took it out and let it finish the last 10 minutes out of the oven. It was perfect. Easy to flip out of the pan if you take the time to spray with some flour spray. So delicious, moist and dense. I will make this again and again when I want a pound cake!

Miss Betty's Super Quick Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
Very tasty! I was nervous trying this, but so glad I did. I am allergic to yeast, so I had to learn to make do without regular bread. This is a fabulous alternative. Yes, a bit more like a biscuit, but you could still spice these up and serve them as a dinner roll without any problems. Thank you so much!

Jambalaya With Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Very good. I am allergic to a lot of spices and wanted something very basic that I could do what I want with. This is it. I made my own veggie stock and used that to cook the rice. Lots of flavor. I can't have spicy foods, but its nice to be able to add what I can and still have flavor. Thank you!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Wow! I am allergic to cinnamon, so I was looking for an alternative recipe that would highlight other spices. This was perfect. I added just a splash of vanilla, but the rest I did as written and without the cinnamon. Ginger with the nutmeg and cloves are delicious!

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
This was a delicious recipe. Very easy and tastes just like ice cream. The consistancy is between a shake and soft serve. I also used soy milk because I have a milk allergy and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Cream maybe would have made it thicker, but I'll try using soy cream next time to see. Try this and enjoy!!!

Easy Breaded Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This recipe was okay. I had to omit the cornstarch because I am allergic to corn. I just used egg/flour and seasoned with some salt, pepper and a little cayenne pepper. It was good, but still needs a bit more seasoning. I had to guess what temp to cook and how long, never tried to do this until today so had to trial and error. Overall, not bad; but make it to your liking. This is very, very basic.
