About this Cook
i am a decent cook, and well.... i kinda just started but so far ive had lots of compliments on my work. i found this website looking for new ideas and ive found it very helpful. when i make dinner my boyfriend usually cooks the meat and i cook the rest. we are very creative cooks and we like to try new things on eachother so it gets very interesting sometimes. my mother loves cooking and trying new things also and so i dont know how ive become so far behind but now i love to call her up and ask questions about what to do. also, my boyfriends grandma is a wonderful cook and has lots of good ideas so hopefully i will become a good cook myself. yes, im still learning. but when cooking you will never know everything there is to know.
My favorite things to cook
i love to wake up and cook a big breakfast. breakfast foods are my favorite, maybe because its the easiest thing for me. i also like to make fried vegtable melodies because they are so delicious and healthy. my boyfriend on the other hand likes the whole meaty, grease loving most men do. thats how his and my cooking become so interesting and a mixture of everything put together.
My cooking tragedies
i seldomly have tragedies, but my problem is that i cook too fast. i never sit down. sometimes i cook so fast i forget to add stuff, and well it still turns out good...sometimes. but im still learning as ive said and ive learned to try to take my time. but when you have people as well as yourself hungry and waiting i do tend to turn the stove up a notch and trey to rush around. also i might add i suck at baking, i think i shall work on that some more but i dont want to eat a sandwhich at the end of the night after hard work..:]

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
oh, my goodness. i was in heaven while eating this soup. i have never made ham and potatoe soup before, so i was a little nervouse :) I used the leftover easter ham, and i didnt have chicken stock on hand, but after i made it, i dont know if it was just me, but it had a chicken flavor to it. i also did well on measurments because i made a lot of it for everyone. the soup was gone within the day and my friends are beggin for more!!!!
