Fluffy Pancakes

Delicious! I've tried with both buttermilk and milk with vinegar. I realize that milk with vinegar is a substitute for buttermilk but this recipe tastes better with it than actual buttermilk.

This dish wasn't bad but it was interesting. Very tangy and more of the consistency of potato salad than tuna. Not bad, but probably nothing I would crave again.

Shoyu Chicken

I tried making this with both thighs and boneless chicken breast and don't waste your time. Thighs are ten times better! I made it non-spicy but I could tell the flavor would be delicious super-hot! A new favorite.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

My husband doesn't like anything spicy so I omitted the red pepper flakes from the recipe. The sauce was WAY too sweet and neither one of us could stand to eat what was on our plate. A first for me. Sorry, this one wasn't for us!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Very good! Tasted much like the sauce from Old Spaghetti Factory. I used fresh herbs and baked the meatballs prior to adding them to the sauce to cut down cooking time. Delicious with whole wheat pasta!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This teriyaki sauce isn't my favorite but I gave it four stars because this is the best BAKED teriyaki chicken recipe I've tried. While it was good, it left me looking forward to BBQ season when I can make great teri chicken on the BBQ.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

This recipe was very good and even my picky husband liked it (minus the fresh mushrooms and after I pureed the cream of mushroom soup!). I would double the sauce next time and cook the sauce and chicken together.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

This was the first time I have baked pound cake from scratch and I must have done something wrong. I baked the cake for 1 hour and 20 minutes and it came out horribly dry. I checked it with a toothpick per the directions but obviously that didn't work. I am afraid to try again.

Chocolate Bar Fondue

This recipe was exactly what I was looking for! I mistakenly added the cream after melting some of the chocolate and it turned into a big dry glop of chocolate. I let it melt again and it came out fine. Next time I would like to try it with white chocolate.
