Bread Pudding III

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
This was so easy to make. I cut down the sugar to about 1/2 a cup and used day old vienna bread but otherwise followed the original recipe. This one is a keeper. Thanks!

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I have made corned beef and cabbage for years by stove top method. This recipe was so much easier and made the best tasting corned beef ever! It was moist and fork tender. No more boiling the corned beef, from now on I use the slow cooker. I did follow the recipe exactly. The one thing I did have a problem with was the capacity. I used a 7 qt slow cooker and still ran out of room.

Irish Soda Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I really loved this bread. A member of a club I belong to made this for our annual corned beef and cabbage fund raising dinner. When asked for the recipe, she stated it was a family secret. This is the recipe! I guess the family secret is allrecipes.com I followed the recipe exactly except I had to add a few tablespoons of milk because the batter was too stiff, as suggested by another reviewer. Still tasted great! Thank you ladies for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
I just made this recipe for the first time. It was so good it is now in my "all time favorite recipe" box! The only change I made was to use a polish bread with currents, similar to a challah bread. Wonderful taste and so easy! Thank you for sharing!

Mexican Style Corn

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2012
I have been eating and serving this corn for years. The way it is done here is basically the same except the corn is roasted on the grill and dipped in butter first. This corn is soo good. You do not taste the mayonnaise like it is. It melts together with the cheese, butter and chili powder and creates this totally different flavor. We also make this with frozen or canned corn when fresh corn is not available. Just adjust the amounts of ingredients to taste. Don't forget to drain the corn completely first. Happy Eating!

Party Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2013
Thank you soo much for the recipe. This is fantastic! I was making it the way my family and friends always have, leave the cream cheese whole, mix shrimp with cocktail sauce and pour shrimp mixture over cream cheese. This is so better tasting! My family and friends love it this way too!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
Breading is bland and the ratio of butter to hot sauce is way off. It's like a heart attack waiting to happen, it was that greasy! There was no flavor to these wings at all. I tried them both fried and baked. I followed recipe exactly and they were terrible. I even used Frank's RedHot sauce as suggested. Don't bother with these, spend your money wisely and go to a restaurant and buy wings!
