Black Magic Cake
I have made this many times. it is the ONLY chocolate cake recipe i will use (after trying many). It is so perfectly dark, moist, and with just the right amount of sweetness. And looks beautiful when cut into. Most recently i made it for my mom's birthday, and 2 months later people are still talking about it. I think I prefer it with homemade cream cheese frosting. Although chocolate goes great too ;-)

Chewy Red Raspberry Squares
I have made these many times and they always come out great. I found that they needed a full 40 mins in my oven. When spreading the jam over the crust, avoid letting the jam contact the sides of the pan; leave just a little space. I've followed the recipe exactly as written, and have played with different kinds of jam, (i don't even measure the jam anymore) and also made them thicker by tripling the recipe and putting it in a 13x9 pan. Wonderful, versatile recipe.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II
So rich and moist!! I made one loaf for my family and it was gone after breakfast, and I brought the other loaf to work and it was gone well before noon. I made another batch, one loaf for my family and one to freeze for another time, I am curious as to how well it will freeze.
