a moment of peace!  He's so big, I couldn;t get him cropped into the picture!  Check out the size of those paws!   I was trying to add him to the last post but for some reason I couldn't....ah, technology, when will we make friends.

Oh my. I wish Bud wilson were mine! We had an akita who was our "child" and then when she died, we replaced her with 4 cats I still yearn for her even though it has been years since she was with us.

I think I read where he's a giant schnoodle, which I'm guessing is part giant schnauzer (sp.?) and poodle. Bud Wilson is awesome whatever he is!

Sounds like he is quickly becoming a member of the family. I love when they run in their sleep. Sooo cute.

witchy...he's a Giant Schnoodle. His Grand parents were Standard poodle and Giant Schnauzer, His parents were schnoodles. He doesn't shed and his coat is very soft. The breed is very smart and although he is big, he is used in agility training...he's fast, flexible and can jump vertically! Now that his stitches are out, he can go on long walks to burn his puppy energy! Fooddancer...I know how you feel, we lost our beautiful Fred last August and although Bud Wilson is wonderful, nothing will ever replace our Fred.

QUESTION: Any brilliant ideas out there on how to stop my cat from being terrified? She just hisses and hides in the basement all day. He wants to play and starts chasing whenever he sees her. Thanks

Hello and thanks for dropping me a line on my blog. I guess it is the best way keep in out. I will keep your MIL in my prayers. That is difficult since not long ago she lost her husband. As for the internet problems...I totally know what that is like. We had major problems for years here. Well, keep your chin up and it will all come together, you are one busy lady. I'm glad you are well and I look forward to seeing you around when you have time. If not drop me a line from time to time, OK? Take care and God bless.

About Me
Loving life at 50ish. Kids are gone and I'm focusing on my career! I enjoyed running a chocolate truffle business for 3 years and now teach adults and children about chocolate. I also teach hands on cooking classes at a local cooking school and am writing my first cookbook! Please visit me at my blog www.allrecipes.com/cook/givethemfood
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook almost anything but particularly enjoy Italian. I have been studying Vegetarian and Vegan cooking for the last few years and love to make healthy meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
from scratch cinnamon buns on Christmas morning...they take forever but Oh! so worth it!
My cooking triumphs
landing my dream job as a teaching chef.
My cooking tragedies
when I was teaching myself to cook way back in college, I made these wonderful oatmeal raisin cookies for my roomies....only problem was I forgot the flour! The cookies became one big mass that overflowed the cookie sheet and made a huge mess in the oven!
