Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
I made this last night and my husband raved about it. I used peach preserves, but other than that, the ingredients were exact. I would note however, that I formed 3 nice size patties out of the mixture before baking and that cut the bake time down to only 30 minutes as a little hint for those who want to save time. Try this one, it is a keeper.

Cabbage Sloppy Joes

Great recipe, I didn't think it was too sweet and I used up the last of the coleslaw mix I had which worked out perfectly!

Cabbage and Noodles

Thanks LissieKat, I've always wanted to try and make this and I love it! I did not fry the bacon and use the fat, I used some already cooked bacon and some chicken broth once and just some of the cooking water from the noodles the next time. I also found adding just a tsp or 2 of sugar make it lip smackin good! Second time I added smoked sausage, even WITH the bacon, my hubby loved it!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Super easy, but one suggestion...I cook them half way with half the brown sugar, then pour off the accumulated grease, add the rest of the brown sugar and they come out glazed!

Soda Cracker Candy

I have made this recipe for years. I would note that using a 10 X 15 JELLYROLL pan (with sides) is ideal. I use only 1 Cup butter and sugar and 1 pkg chocolate chips. Sprinkle the chips on right after you take it out of the oven, let sit for just a minute to soften the chocolate chips and then using a spatula, spread the chocolate to completly cover the toffee. Then add either nuts, sprinkles or even another flavor baking chips. I use sprinkles for whatever occasion/holiday I am making this for. If using other two kinds of chips, swirl it to give it a marble effect, don't worry about the toffee it can take it!
