Easy and Quick Swiss Steak

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
I've tried one other recipe for cubed steak and it came out kinda tough, so I was worried. The only thing I did differently was I added a sprinkle of meat tenderizer to the steaks before I dredged them in the flour. My hubby and kids all loved it- extremely tender and a good flavor!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2014
This was awesome and super easy. It took longer for for the butter to melt in the oven than it did to assemble all the other ingredients. I doubled the recipe and to simplify the ingredients for the filling I used one can of blueberry pie filling and two cups of frozen blueberries, then I didn't add any extra sugar on top. Came out perfect and delicious!

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Fabulous and super easy! I did brown the chops before I baked it, but I doubt I needed to. I bet this would be good with chicken too.

Best Football Dip Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
Excellent! I added the taco seasoning to the hamburger, then combined the meat, salsa and cream cheese. Topped with Velveeta slices and baked at 350 until the cheese was melted and bubbly. It was gone in one day!

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
The name says it all! These really were fabulous! I did take the advice of other and omitted the tomato soup. I used the canned chili and enchilada sauce called for, and then I added some bottled taco sauce to the topping since I didn't have another can of enchilada sauce. I made these up with the shredded cheddar added to each burrito, put them in a pan, covered with the sauce and baked at 375 degrees for about 35min. Again- you have to try this recipe- its fantastic!!!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
Very good as is, but I added some additional cumin, garlic salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of pureed chipotle peppers and really took it to where I wanted it to be. I marinated the flank steak for 3 days and threw it in the crockpot on low for 7 hours. I wish I could've made the onion relish, but we sufficed with some storebought pico de gallo.

Anne's Fabulous Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2009
I am not a fish-eater by any means but this recipe looked too good to pass up. I used orange roughy instead of salmon and took the advice of another reviewer and turned the leftover marinade into a glaze. It turned out excellent- the entire family enjoyed it! Thanks, Esmee!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

I made this with blackberries because that's all I had on hand, but other than that I kept everything else the same. It turned out wonderfully!

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

These were great. I have also cheated before and took pre-made frozen hot wing, then brushed them with the honey-hot sauce-butter mix. Really jazzes them up!

This had resturant quality taste. I baked mine, but I think it would be even better on the grill. The glaze was divine!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
This is the best potato salad recipe I've tried so far. I did add a dollop of sour cream, and I used half garlic salt and half regular salt. I haven't tried it with cheese added yet, but I think it will make this dish even better (if possible!)

Sweet Bacon Crackers

Reviewed: May 26, 2014
These were the hit of our Memorial Day BBQ. I had so many requests for the recipe, I ended up posting it on FB. My only suggestion would be to cut the bacon into fourths instead of thirds. Not only does the bacon go further, I think it's a better bacon/cracker/sugar ratio that way.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
Flippin' ridiculous good- pardon my French! Like buckeyes, but so much easier than dipping each ball. I did lesson the butter slightly, and I used milk chocolate chips, because that's what I had on hand.

Caramelized Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
The flavor is wonderful- reminds me of Thai food. The only thing I would suggest is some heat- a little red pepper flakes or cayenne- just to compliment the peanut butter sweetness. I've already made this several times. Sometimes I just broil chicken breasts and do the sauce separately. I add a bit of cornstarch to the water and bring it to a boil, then pour it over my chicken breasts.
