About this Cook
In my 30's...wife, mother, sister, and great friend. Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Loves to read, cook, decorate, spend time with my family/friends and I enjoy traveling.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta dishes, fried foods, baked dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking crab legs with my husband baking with my daughter.
My cooking triumphs
Finally learned how to cook...period! As a newlywed, I was only good at breakfast. That was 10 years ago....I'm better in all areas now. I can fry the best catfish and tilapia and I'm pretty good with lasagna and seafood pasta dishes as well.
My cooking tragedies
My first cube steak with gravy had way too much salt and my husband wouldn't tell me for fear of hurting my feelings. He let me taste my own food and I said it was terrible before he did. We went out for dinner instead.....ten years ago.
