Oatmeal Raisin Cookies VI

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
Oh ya, this is the one. I used a ice cream scooper to make BIG holiday cookies, they turned out a 11 out of a 1 to 10 scale.

Marshmallow Fudge Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
The ONLY thing I did not like about the frosting was the fact that I should have sifted the powder sugar and gotten rid of the tiny sugar clumps. My fault, this recipe ROCKS!

Remarkable Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
I do not understand any negative remarks this fudge has received. I made it on a very humid and rainy afternoon, boiled it to soft ball stage, poured it out, sliced it while it was still a bit warm, and today it is set up and ready to find its way into Christmas gift baskets. Completely awesome.

Old Fashioned Hard Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
I made this for Christmas and it was gone before the rest of the candy. I used 1 dram of cinnamon oil. I am making it again tonight because my husband likes it better than any hard cinnamon candy he can find. Word to the wise... when you out the oil in, step back and make sure you have your window cracked. Broke mine up with a metal spatula, just a slight tap will do it. This is the best of the best.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
These are awesome! I rolled them out between 2 pieces of parchment paper, set them on a cookie sheet and stuck them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. I then sprayed my cutters with cooking spray to cut them. Pealed the excess dough away and baked for 8 minutes. The perfect cookie was born.

Old Fashioned Hard Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
I never knew I could make hard candy. I have tried several times in the past and had nothing but a stack of pots that needed de-sugaring. I found this recipe and decided to try one more time. It looks and tastes like I have been making candy for years. I used one dram of Cinnamon oil and red food coloring. It looks and tastes just like the old Jolly Rancher cinnamon sticks. Remember those? A bonus is the cinnamon oil makes your house smell awesome, just don't stand over it when you pour it in.... lesson learned.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Awesome! Simple to make, stays fresh in air tight containers, and you wont have to break the bank buying ingredients. I put a layer of chocolate ganache on mine when it was cooled.

Basic Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
I rolled mine in Bits O Brickle which is the toffee part of a Heath Bar. I ran them through the processor for a couple of seconds and rolled away. If I would have known that Truffles were this easy to make I wouldn't have been paying 3.00 for one, and these are A LOT better! Excellent recipe. Very easy to make.

My husband has me make him this "stuff" about once a month. I always load it down with Pecans because in his mind that makes it healthy. This is an excellent recipe and simple to make as well.

Ghirardelli® Dark Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
I made 6 batches of these for the holidays. They are fool proof. Rolled them in Bits O Brickle that I ran through the food processor for a few pulses. Did the same with Honey Roasted Cashews. I will NEVER pay 2.00 for one truffle again.
