About Me
I'm a casual everyday type of cook but I do make a few dishes rather well. I also like to garden and grow my own produce: greens, tomatos, and herbs.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are: pizzas, fish and seafood, pasta, and vegetable dishes. I also like to grill and my favorite thing to grill is fish, especially salmon.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family tradition is pizza on Christmas Eve. The tradition goes back many years and it probably started because we open presents on Chrismas Eve and making pizza kept everyone busy.
My cooking triumphs
I make a pretty darn good pizza.
My cooking tragedies
It's hard to admit but I have burned a pan of water! The lesson learned is to stay in the kitchen when cooking because I get distracted easily.
