Cream of Asparagus Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
We really like this soup, even my husband who isnt too crazy about asparagus! We have made it several times now. My modifications: -Melt butter along with 2 tbsp minced garlic and 2 tbsp olive oil. -Use cream of chicken soup instead of condensed broth. -Use 3 potatoes instead of 1. -Soy sauce optional. YUM!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
Great Carrot cake. I made it for Easter dinner last night and everyone loved. I used the suggestions from a previous author to include crushed pineapple, applesauce in place of some of the oil, and no pecans in the icing. I will do some cupcakes/muffins next time.

Candy Cane Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
This was a great Danish-like recipe that everyone loved when we made it for christmas. I combined it with the Cinnamon Bun Icing recipe for the topping (instead of the Cherry) by ASILMARIE and it was delicious!!

My mom used to make these every Christmas. The addition that will make it a five star recipe is adding a can of Cambells Cheddar cheese soup to this!!

Awesome if you like margaritias. I have tried them with Corona and they turned out very good. (it is also adds extra taste if you use a mixture of sugar and salt around the rim).

Bacon-Balsamic Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
They turned out sweet. It could have been the mayo we used though. I might try this again and just omit the sugar, and use a different mayo.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

We really enjoyed this recipe. We used iceberg lettuce with chicken (shredded), and in place of regular soy we used Dale's sauce. Very good and easy!

Rated G Mexican Coffee

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I'm not sure what coffee blend would work the best with this recipe. I used the Duncan Donuts and it seemed a bit too acidic.
