Flank Steak with Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
Followed the recipe exactly and it was absolutely delicious! After cutting up the meat I squirted it with lime juice and we had it on corn tortillas with the "best ever" guacamole.

Spiced Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
This was so delicious! and I'm not usually a big beef stew fan. I gave it four stars only because I changed it a little. I put a chopped up sweet potato and diced fresh carrot in right before I put it in the oven. The sweet potatoes were a great compliment to the meat and the slightly sweet sauce. GREAT recipe!

Chocolate Cream Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I made it with coconut milk since we don't do dairy here. Soooo delicious. Depending on how much chocolate I want sometimes I halve the amount of chocolate I put in it because it is very rich. This a wonderful and very easy recipe!

Funky Cholent

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Decent but surprisingly bland even with all the ingredients. I even added a bay leaf and some thyme but it was super plain...maybe if you doubled everything but to me it wasn't worth trying again.

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
This is better than some restaurants! We are really lacking in good Chinese food where I live and this really hits the spot. I like to toss the chicken pieces in flour before I cook them so we get that breaded orange chicken but if you do that make sure you don't simmer it in the sauce more than a couple minutes or it will get soggy!

Fried Rice with Cilantro

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
Best fried rice ever! The only thing I do different is for the oil I do 1/2 sesame oil and 1/2 regular and I add a couple of scrambled eggs. SO good!

Salmon Quiche

I found this to be a little on the dry side and without a whole lot of flavor.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
This was ok. I've had better though. Not tons of flavor and all the ingredients wouldn't fit in the crockpot so I had to cook the potatoes seperately, which was not a big deal.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
These cookies are FANTASTIC! I may have put in a tad bit more pumkin and spices, just taste the batter and you decide. I made these twice. Once with frosting and once without. Both times they were devoured and I've had people beg for more!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
This recipe is fantastic and I got a lot of compliments. As suggested by another user I used a leftover ham bone to make broth (cover and boil for a couple hours) and used that instead of water. I also doubled the broth amount that it called for to make it more soupy. I am dairy free so instead of using butter and milk to make the rue I simpy used Earth Balance and coconut milk and it turned out great! The last thing I did different was to use my handheld blender at the end just to blend it a little, but it made a fantastic finish in texture and flavor. Enjoy!

Peach Crisp III

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Used the exact amount of ingredients in the recipe and it was fabulous! Don't try to mix the butter in with a food processer...it just comes out all sticky :{ Just cut it in and don't worry if it seems really chunky, it's perfect! Also, do mix the spices in with the oats and flour. Some vanilla Haagen-Dazs ice cream on top and this really hit the spot!
