The reason it's bland is there is way too much oil. I'd say a tablespoon max, not 3/4 cup.

Pork Chops in White Wine

Tasted good but ...a cup of water? At least substitute with chicken broth or something that adds flavor to the party. Water is bland and makes for a bland dish.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

This was very, very good. I made a few adjustments however by adding a little tequila while cooking, using corn tortillas, and adding 1 diced serrano pepper for spice.
