Hurricane Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
This cake is really good, I would have given it 5 stars but I could not bring myself to making the cake exactly as it ( I mean using 3 3/4 cups of confectioners sugar) so instead I used 2 cups and that was plenty!!! Nevertheless this recipe is a keeper!!! Thanks for posting it.

Cinnamon-Peach Cottage Cheese Pancakes

This recipe wasn´t at all what I expected, i wasn´t sure when it was cooked, if it was cooked! I didn´t taste the peach. Sorry, will not be doing this recipe again!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
I really like the taste and consistency but it´s not entirely what I was looking for, giving it was too sweet. Next time I try this recipe I think it would be a good idea to stick to one can of condensed milk but add 1 8onz package of Philadelphia cream cheese to lessen the sweetness, however I would like it if someone (a more experienced baker) could help me out as to how much time should I bake it if I add the cream cheese. Pls

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
Wonderful oriental flavour, exactly what I expected to find when looking for a recipe that included beef and ginger. I did take in the suggestions of other reviewers of doubling the soy sauce. Thanks!!!

Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
This is a great recipe, I only used chicken broth (I didn´t have any clam juice) and it still came out great. The only change I made was I sauted the fish in olive oil seasoned with garlic powder, black pepper and salt and then incorporated it to the the broth and mushrooms mixture. Will be doing it again and very soon!

Sweet Cornbread Cake

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
This is exactly what I was looking for. Instead of putting all the flour asked for, I used only a cup and a half and for the rest I used masa (or corn flour) to give a more cornlike taste.
