Darn Good Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
This was good. I tried to follow the recipe as exactly as I could. I liked the taco sauce addition. Very good, my husband and I loved it.

Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
These were okay. I like a little more spice. The mozzarella I used was good, but overpowered the spices. I found they were a little better the next day.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
These were great. I baked them for 8 mins and they were perfect. I like crunch, so I used crunchy peanut butter, and also added 1/4 mini chocolate morsels. My husband will love these!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
These turned out great, very flat with crisy ends. Was a nice amount of batter, not too much. I left out the hot water and mixed in the baking soda and it was fine. Very good recipe that I will make again.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
These were very good. I like a little variety so I added a half cup of raisins, used chunky peanut butter and they turned out great! I also doubled the recipe and it gave me 3 dozen average sized cookies. I had to bake them for about 17 minutes per batch since I made them a tad bigger. Perfectly done; will be making them again, very easy.

Baked French Fries II

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I made them exactly as indicated, however I found they turned out stale with little flavor. I may have cut them too thin; not sure what went wrong.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
This turned out great in my bread maker. It was a little smaller than my other recipes but otherwise and nice crust and very soft. I will be making this again.

Chicken and Bok Choy Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2013
The hubs summed it up like this: "You couldn't have done it any better" I did add a pinch of cilantro and used bone broth instead of water. Turned out great.

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I wanted some quick cookies and all I had was yellow cake mix, so I followed this recipe with the yellow cake mix, dried cranberries, and pecans. I added about a tsp of almond flavoring and they turned out wonderful! Super fast and easy for when you need to fill up the cookie jar. My husband loved them.

Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2014
This was a hit! I didn't have alot of mayo, so I did half mayo and half sour cream. For the cheese, I shredded cheddar and pepperjack. It turned out great. My husband ate way too much! I omitted the olives since I didn't have any and added fresh scallions. Will be making again. I am all for salt and pepper, but this was great and really didn't need anything else. Perfectly delicious.

Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2014
Great recipe, very savory. I did use scallions instead of onions, that is what I had on hand. Also, did not have tomatoes so I threw in a can of classico spicy tomato sauce. Turned out perfect!

Cheesy Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
It was good. The hubs loved it. I added some cajun seasoning on top just because I thought it could use a little extra spice. Will be making it again, probably will add sausage for a bit more substance. It was a little flat.

Sausage Casserole

Eggcellent! I didn't have potatoes so I subbed kohlrabi. Came out perfect, didn't need salt or pepper like I thought it might. Hubs loved it. Great recipe.

Collins Goulash

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
Good, with a few additions - hence the 4 stars. It was a little bland, so I added the onions and a little salt and pepper. I also love more of the cheesy flavor - so I tossed in a handful of shredded cheese. Turned out great and the husband liked it.
