About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything and everything for my family who appreciate my efforts in the kitchen and love to eat!
My favorite family cooking traditions
On Christmas Eve members of my family each choose their favorite dish and that's what we eat - a hodgepodge of what makes us happy, even if the dishes "don't go together". For other big holidays, it's a full Ukrainian feast.
My cooking tragedies
I can't bake angel food cake from scratch if my life depended on it.

Zucchini Bites
An awesome DIFFERENT savory snack or breakfast on the run. I made 11 regular sized muffins. I added a garlic clove to the veggie mixture and a couple pinches of chipotle chili powder. This recipe is easily adaptable to whatever you like or have on hand. I used a mixture of fresh grated parm, jalapeƱo jack and mozza. Spray the tin well.

Garlic Prime Rib
I first made this for my 10 lb prime rib Christmas dinner. It was fabulous!! I now use it scaled down for all my beef roasts. I do rub it all over the meat and cook the first 20 minutes at 460 instead of 500 degrees. Thanks so much for this recipe!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken
Sadly, this has been in my recipe box for some time and I haven't tried it till now. An excellent recipe. Great flavor. I did the sauce on the side with a bit of cornstarch and added it back to the chicken ( and onions & broccoli). Using fresh ginger is the only way to go. Way better than any takeout. Thanks
