Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
My husband was skeptical when I told him I was going to make cranberry sauce from scratch for thanksgiving this year, he loves the canned jelly stuff. He was pleasantly surprised when I let him sample the finished product. We will make this every holiday in our home.

This recipe is fantastic. I made it exactly as the recipe states (which I think everyone should do if they are going to rate a recipe). We will be making this every holiday. Thanks for the great recipe!

This soup is excellent! I have made it before and made it again tonight. I am vegan but the rest of my family are meat eaters, however, they loved this soup!

Ethiopian Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2013
I doubled the spices as everyone else suggested and this dish is one of my absolute favorites! I made it 4 nights ago and I am making it again tonight! Although cornbread isn't ethiopian it pairs well with cabbage in my opinion, so I made the meal with the Vegan Agave Cornbread from this site. This dinner was a big hit at my house! Thanks for the recipe :-)

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
I made these cookies last night and my 2 year old twin daughters would have eaten the entire batch if I would have let them. I followed the recipe as written and they were AWESOME. The cookies were even better the morning after (yes I ate them for breakfast).

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
These were spectacular! I did not bake mine in the sauce and cheese because I wanted to have leftovers for my husband to pack for work the next day. I added the sauce and cheese in top of them after they were done in the oven. They were crispy and fantastic! I baked mine at 450 for 10 minutes per side and they were cooked perfectly. I also did the whole sprinkle them with salt and let them sit for 20 minutes bit that the other reviews said to do. My husband said they tasted even better the next day.

Veggie Lasagna Florentine

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
I made this recipe just as it is written with no substitutions and it was wonderful! Next time I will use more spinach and cheese mixture just because my husband and I love spinach. There was quite a bit of sauce leftover but I think it is great to top off left overs. It did take me longer than 20 minutes to prepare but totally worth it!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
This recipe was great. The sauce was terrific. I made some modifications due to a wine allergy and to use what I had on hand. I used shake-n-bake garlic flavored for the coating on the chicken and I also cooked it as most other people on this page by browning both sides then baking @ 350 for 20 minutes. I made the sauce seperate. I used chicken stock in place of the wine and still used the boullion cube and added fresh parsley. My fiancee said it was his favorite sauce and even put it on his mashed potatoes. It was soooo good. I will be using the recipe often and passing it aong to friends. FYI----- dont use colored tooth picks to secure the chicken. It colored the surounding chicken when I removed them. I thought it would help me find them easier but ended up being just as hard.
