My favorite family cooking traditions
Holidays foods in my family are my favorite. The recipes passed down (Polish and German) through my family are delicious and feel comforting.
My cooking triumphs
I feel confidant in my many dinner recipes and adventures. Some of my friends and family's favorites of mine are Chicken Cordon Bleu and Thai Chicken with Red Peppers. I also make great use of all kinds of cheese.
My cooking tragedies
I am not the world's best baker. Cakes are my biggest challenge. I also had a rather tragic encounter with Pad Thai a few months ago-- my first experience cooking with Asian rice noodles from the market which turned into a giant bowl of noodle glop.

London Broil II
Delicious. My steak was alot smaller (1 1/2 lbs for 2 people) but i used the same amount marinade. Very flavorful and scoring the meat really helped to be more tender.

Delicious and Easy Mock Risotto
I really enjoyed this recipe... certainly I agree with the other posters, it isn't classic risotto... but it is still a delicious side. I added 1/2 cup shredded farmer's cheese (all i had.. i would've used parmesan) and also some herbs (rosemary, marjoram, oregano).

Chicken Piccata II
Delicious! My husband enjoyed it too, though he said he didn't taste the lemon... and i used a little extra of that! I definitely think you need to double the flour to coat the chicken well. I also pounded the chicken to about 1/2 inch thickness.
