Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
This has been a "go to" recipe for me for years. I find that you really have to time this right. Wait until you have a full boil you can't stir down and then use a timer for 7 minutes exactly. I also use a full jar of peanut butter even if it is a couple ounces more. For chocolate fudge just add semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of peanut butter and for really dark chocolate fudge, mix about 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder in with the sugar before adding wet ingediants and then add the chocolate chips instead of peanut butter.

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2006
This has been a family favorite for years. I do use half milk chocolate and half semi-sweet chips and find that makes a much tastier mix. Also, don't skimp on the powdered sugar or it will turn into a solid mass overnight. Thanks Bonnie for reminding me of a great simple recipe!

Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2002
This is the best tasting and best texture I have found in a quiche in a long time. I've made this exactly as written and also with turkey bacon or mushrooms with the sauted onions...yummy! Who would have thought nutmeg was the key?!

This is one receipe that delivers what it promises! Incredible cookies that stay soft. I chilled the dough for about an hour before dropping my cookies.

always get compliments for this pudding when I bring it to carry in dinners. I use a bit more vanilla and cinnamon than it calls for. Wonderful texture and taste.

Amish White Bread

This makes really great white bread. It can easily be made into wheat bread or even a cinnamon roll. It has become a family favorite. When it gets a little stale, try it as french toast. Yummy!

Grandmother's Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2000
Best oatmeal cookie I've ever made! I used real butter, toasted my walnuts before adding them and then chilled the dough for 20 minutes before rolling into balls. Cookies stay chewy and moist after baking. Great flavor, sure to stay a family favorite.

Banana Loaf Cake I

This is delicious. I used the 8x3 loaf pans and made 3 perfect loaves. Froze two for later. This works better than 2 bigger loaves for my smaller family. Wonderfully moist, doesn't need frosting.

Tomato Bread I

This is a wonderful bread! I use dry parsley instead of fresh and grind my carrot, onion and garlic in an electric food chopper to get it very fine.
