Turtle Tassies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
Overall, I like this recipe. I think they came out tasting very nice. I however think the recipe its self is written incorrectly. I would use 2 packages of cookie mix with the cup of butter and 1 bag of caramels. I used milk instead of whipping cream and the caramel came out just fine. I also used the end of a rolling pin to push the dough down. I found that worked really well.

Pork Apple Burgers

Luv these! Made them into sliders and served on mini wheat potato rolls. Followed other reviews and added some bread crumbs to help hold them together. Cut recipe in half and it made 10 mini burgers.

Cheesy Green Onion Bagel Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Love this dip! Served with bagel chips, but also loved it with plain crackers. I was surprised how long it has stayed fresh in my fridge. Kept it for a few weeks. Agree with other reviewers, best to sit out a bit before serving. Will make again!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Was really great and simple! I made half the recipe and it still made a lot! I used fat free cheese, fat free cream cheese, and fat free ranch dressing and it still turned out great. I simply mixed everything together and cooked on 350 F for 20 minutes. Was perfect, will make again!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
I love this dessert! I have made it a few times, each using a different combination of ingredients. The latest was cheesecake pudding, cherry pie filling, and angel food cake with the cool whip and condensed milk from the original recipe. It was a huge hit. When making the original recipe, I added some crushed up heath bar in between the layers. It gave it a nice crunch. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. I will continue to make with different combinations of pudding and cake.

These were wonderful and so easy to make. I used three bananas and a whole cup of yogurt. I also added some cinnamon as recommended by another viewer. I took them in for a school breakfast and everyone loved them. They were gone in minutes!

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
Loved it! I purchased the tin chicken breasts from the grocery store, no pounding needed. I also added a little feta on top of the pesto then put on the piece of cheese on and rolled. Mine cooked in 40 minutes. Turned out great, will make again!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Loved this meatloaf, made it last night for dinner. Since my husband and I are on a low fat diet, this was the perfect meal. I did sub. fat free cheddar cheese for the Colby, egg substitute, and I added a 1/4 cup salsa. Looking forward to the leftovers tonight!

I don't often use my slow cooker, but this recipe has changed that! It was great. My husband and I really enjoyed it! It made alot, so we were able to have many leftovers but we did not mind. It was a very easy recipe to follow and it had a great taste. I plan on making again and again. Thanks for the great recipe and getting me to use my slow cooker!
