Wazzu Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
Have to give this a 5! Didn't change much at all except used ground turkey and ground chicken sausage and no habeneros. My family loved it and it had pleny of kick even for me who likes stuff spicy (I did add jalapenos per recipe). Was delish after a few hours and the next day! Thanks for the great recipe.

Special Rhubarb Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
Awesome. I followed receipe exactly except 3 cups of fruit and opted for brown sugar on topping. My family LOVED the cake and topping. Really great, thank you.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
Halved the recipe, added additional 1/2 cup applesauce, used 1/4 plain yogurt and 1/4 cup fat free milk instead of milk, and left out the food coloring. Also used double vanilla as suggested and 1/4 cup organic pudding mix. Used special dark baking choc instead of regular baking choc. 1/2 the frosting recipe as well, and just added enough powdered until I liked the consistency. Husband and non-cupcake lover teenage daughter said best cupcakes they had ever had. Thanks for the starter!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Great pancakes, my fam's favorite! After making MANY patches as written, I tried 2 eggs and only 3 tsp of baking powder in hopes of making them not so crumbly! It worked perfect and now fam says they are perfect!

Spaghetti Pizza Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
Husband, 15 year old, 5 year old, AND 2 year old LOVED this one. They had it for 3 meals in a row and were happy each time! :) Left overs are almost better. Made a few modifications to make it less fatty - added low fat Ricotta and used low fat Mozzarella instead of chedder. I also used ground turkey instead of beef. I followed others advice and used 1.5 times the sauce and layered some sauce at the bottom. I also mixed the spice (italian seasoning only as my sauce was preseasoned) and Ricotta into the egg mixture. After 30 mins. the milk mixture was just barely runny but as the dish cooled, it thickened. It did not detract from the dish. Will DEFINITELY make this again.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
First time cheesecake maker -novice baker. My husband considers himself a connoisseur having driven around the country looking for great cheesecake. He said it was the best cheese cake he has ever had. I bring it everywhere now – and I get tons of requests! I didn't change anything but did bake in water and put batter through sift to ensure it was smooth! Truly amazing!!!
