Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
Very good pasta salad...I also added 3 hard boiled eggs and left out carrots-didn't have any on hand. I used apple cider vinegar and yellow onion but red would be a bit tastier. I did sautee my onions until caramelized since my husband doesn't like raw onions. Excellent! Even better as it sits and overnight is phenomenal!! Will make again for parties. Used amount of sugar stated and used whole box of pasta. Was perfect!

Gelatin Poke Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
I made this for my daughters bday party as an alt to the super sweet kids cake. The adults loved it!!! The whole cake went in no time. I used strawberry cake and fruit punch jello. I also used the cool whip topping but also used diced fresh strawberries (lightly coated with lemon juice and sprinkle of sweet n low) then added chopped vanilla wafers at the very end. It was incredible!!!!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Very good. Quick and somple. I added Bacon bits on top of the ketchup 1/2 way through cooking!!! A lot of variety in this recipe since you could basically stuff it and top it with hundreds of items! Will keep handy.

Scrumptious Shrimp Scampi Linguine

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Excellent! Followed recipe as is but used 1 teaspoon lemon zest with the juice. Next time would double sauce for 1 lb of pasta and would use large sized shrimp instead of medium. My husband loved it!!

Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: May 7, 2013
Very good-followed recipe but used combo of walnuts and pecans chopped very fine. Even though scooped and rolled little balls...they baked and settled into cookie shapes not as pictured. Some of my cookies fell apart as I was dousing them in powdered sugar. Very good. Husband is from Poland and hadn't tasted them in states-loved them!! Recipe makes ALOT but good for sharing with neighbors.

Oh-So-Good Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Very good. Made it in a pinch to use sour cream and mushrooms before they went bad. I used rice a roni chicken flavor instead of white rice and sooo good! Fiance loved it-made sure to brown the top by putting it on Broil in the oven. Used homemade salsa and had a nice kick!

Thought it was very good classic comfort food! I did add some breadcrumbs with the crackers and put ketchup on top during last ten minutes before being done. Would make again for sure.

Pan Pierogies

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Very, very good. Made almost 5 lbs worth... a bit more prep work required but well worth it. I would have added more onions because we love them and if you don't they get lost in the potatoes and doesn't flavor them much. I also added garlic powder to the instant potatoes. Very very good for parties!

Was very tasty however, mine did come out a little watery. Would possibly omit the can tomato juice and use less taco sauce but perhaps add taco seasoning.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
Very good-made it as one desert for Christmas and tweaked the recipe a bit. Added mini reeses pieces candies in it and Oreo cookie crumbs on top. Finished it off after slicing with some chocolate syrup! A sure fire hit at parties and very simple. Make sure it stays frozen while transporting otherwise it is hard to cut and loose.
