Recently I posted a complaint on my Facebook wall. I'd like to share it and the relevant comments plus some of my own. Americans are getting married later and later in life. Americans are also living longer. Why is it then that all the recipes I find are 4-8 servings? I don't want to eat… MORE

Last week I was faced with a half-pound of ground meat, and a half a jar of spaghetti sauce.  So I went searching for a recipe to utilize these simple ingredients.  What I found is a new recipe to add to my arsenal of quick and impressive recipes.  That recipe is is Basic Baked… MORE

In an effort to ween myself away from soda and caffeine, and save a bit of money, I decided to find a recipe to make my own chai tea mix.  I tried this one.  It's perfect!  It's much more affordable than the commercial mixes and just as good.  I did as some of the commenters… MORE

After making a lot of complicated dishes (well, complicated for me) I tried something a bit quicker.  I made some Easy Fusili with Tomato Pesto Sauce for my parents for dinner last night.  My father thought it was pretty good, so I was happy to be redeemed from the ravioli… MORE

While I was out of town on business, I had a dish of Butternut Squash Ravioli.  I was upset that I was only served four of said raviolis, but they were the best I'd ever had.  I am going to try a few recipes to see if I can get something close.  I would never have thought to put… MORE

So I tried my hand at Chicken Crunch and I have to say, it was yummy, but a bit more hassle than I was prepared for.  I wound up dirtying a plethora of dishes and the chicken just wouldn't cook all the way through.  I wound up swiping it from the table and microwaving it to… MORE

Okay, so for whatever reason, my father is a huge fan of meatloaf.  I do not share his enthusiasm, but it's okay.  Anyways, while my mother was out of town, I made meatloaf, but not her recipe.  It turned out pretty well in the end, but I forgot to add the breadcrumbs!  I… MORE

When my boyfriend made me try Indian food, I first tried Chicken Korma.  This was a much better experience than the other Indian food I had tried before.  I then made a batch at home, which turned out great.  I pair it with a white wine and some regular rice.  I need to find… MORE

My boyfriend is a large fan of Indian food, so I endeavored to make Chicken Tikka Masala.  He was quite impressed with the result, so much so that I must cook it for his sister (How exciting!)  Unfortunately, in my rush, I wasn't able to thicken the sauce all the way. Plus, I forgot… MORE
