My family RAVED over this!I used maple syrup in place of the corn syrup and only used 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar. This is a definite keeper! Thanks for sharing

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
I used coffee in place of the hot water and cut the sugar by 1/4-1/2. I frosted it with Rich Chocolate Icing. It's quick, easy and everyone I've made it for loves it!

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
these were excellent and so fluffy even with the change I made. I substituted 1 cup all purpose flour with 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and 1/4 cup wheat germ to give them a little more nutrition. I also added a dash of vanilla. Definitely the best pancake recipe I've used. Thanks for sharing!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
I halved the recipe which was more than plenty for a two layer cake. I also used about 1/2 the cocoa the recipe called for (I kept tasting it as I added it) and mixed it all in the food processor. It has a nice sheen and tastes wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
these were very good - I didn't separate the eggs and didn't make the syrup because my family requested chocolate chips. Will definitely make these again!

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
these were easy and delicious. I spread sauce on the crescent rolls, but will probably take other reviewer's suggestions and process the sauce, pepperoni and cheese together as a spread to make them easier to roll. I also put the stuffed crescent rolls in the freezer before I cut them. I was going to send them for lunch at school, but my husband ate them all! Thanks for sharing!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I used this recipe the first time I roasted a chicken. I now make this on a regular basis. I add garlic and use real butter but keep everything else the same. This is a foolproof recipe - comes out super juicy every time! Thanks for sharing!

This is my new go to icing. I followed another reviewers suggestion and substituted unsweetened Cocoa powder as listed on the container and replaced the egg white with almond milk. Easy and not overly sweet. Thanks for sharing!

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
I was looking for a way to use up over-ripe strawberries and came across this recipe. This was quick and easy and turned out great. I had buttermilk and half & half on hand so I used those in place of the heavy cream and cut the sugar in half. I could have put in a bit more sugar, but my kids loved it as is!

Homemade Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
I just finished making these for a bake sale. I wanted something a little different but easy and quick. Besides being super easy, they taste amazing!! I used the Cream Cheese II recipe to cut down on the overall cream cheese flavor. If I could give this recipe 10 stars I would. Thanks so much for sharing!!

Cinnamon Cookies II

I took the suggestion of other reviewers and decreased molasses to 1 tbspn and increased cinnamon to 2 tbspn. I sprinkled one batch with sugar and left the other plain - they were equally delicious! Thanks for a great easy recipe!
