Lemon-Herb Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2013
I omitted the marjoram, combined the spices with the oil and rubbed it under the skin as well as over after covering with the lemon juice. I tented the turkey with aluminum foil because I didn't have a bag. The only change I made was to pour chicken stock in the bottom of the pan. Very moist with wonderful flavor.

Biscotti

Love these! I was always afraid to make biscotti, but these are so easy! I used almond extract because I didn't have anise and added a little extra for a stronger flavor. Perfect for coffee dipping :)

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2003
I've made these several times now using tips from other reviewers. I replace the sugar with 1/2 cup honey and use 1/2 can of pure pumpkin in place of oil. I've made them with blueberries, raisins and craisins so far. It's an easy healthy breakfast and keeps me full until lunch. Even my kids love them!

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
I was looking for a way to use up over-ripe strawberries and came across this recipe. This was quick and easy and turned out great. I had buttermilk and half & half on hand so I used those in place of the heavy cream and cut the sugar in half. I could have put in a bit more sugar, but my kids loved it as is!

I took the suggestion of other reviewers and decreased molasses to 1 tbspn and increased cinnamon to 2 tbspn. I sprinkled one batch with sugar and left the other plain - they were equally delicious! Thanks for a great easy recipe!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I used this recipe the first time I roasted a chicken. I now make this on a regular basis. I add garlic and use real butter but keep everything else the same. This is a foolproof recipe - comes out super juicy every time! Thanks for sharing!

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
these were easy and delicious. I spread sauce on the crescent rolls, but will probably take other reviewer's suggestions and process the sauce, pepperoni and cheese together as a spread to make them easier to roll. I also put the stuffed crescent rolls in the freezer before I cut them. I was going to send them for lunch at school, but my husband ate them all! Thanks for sharing!

Roasted Red Pepper Soup

this could not be easier or quicker. I followed the recipe minus the mushrooms and tortellini since I didn't have them on hand. I added a few dashes of red pepper flakes and about 2 tablespoons of sour cream and it was delicious. This is a definite keeper - even the kids loved it!
