Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
This was a big hit with my husband and kids. I added 2 each red & white pearl onions, extra garlic and cut the soy sauce to a little under 1/4 cup. I forgot to add the ginger but it was still delicious. This is definitely going in my rotation.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I used this recipe the first time I roasted a chicken. I now make this on a regular basis. I add garlic and use real butter but keep everything else the same. This is a foolproof recipe - comes out super juicy every time! Thanks for sharing!

Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
After reading some other reviews I decided to add some milk to the dough because it was very crumbly and dry. The end result was very good. Even my husband liked them and he does not like anything remotely healthly :o)

Pumpkin Wheat Honey Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
I made a few changes based on what I had on hand - used 1/4 cup pumpkin and 3/4 cup squash, 1/4 cup veg oil 1/4 cup applesauce and added choc chips instead of nuts and raisins. These were delicious and easy in the food processor. Love the hint of honey flavor but may cut down a bit next time. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cinnamon Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
I took the suggestion of other reviewers and decreased molasses to 1 tbspn and increased cinnamon to 2 tbspn. I sprinkled one batch with sugar and left the other plain - they were equally delicious! Thanks for a great easy recipe!

this was very good. I did make a few changes - I used Chicken Broth in place of the water and bouillion and added some green pepper because I needed to use it up. Thanks for sharing!

Zucchini Brownies

Not bad, but I was a little disappointed based on the other reviews. Maybe I did something wrong. Definitely better with the icing.

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
I was looking for a way to use up over-ripe strawberries and came across this recipe. This was quick and easy and turned out great. I had buttermilk and half & half on hand so I used those in place of the heavy cream and cut the sugar in half. I could have put in a bit more sugar, but my kids loved it as is!

Favorite Banana Blueberry Quick Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I made these as mini muffins and halved the sugar and shortening to make them a bit healthier. Also used egg whites instead of whole eggs because that is what I had. My 2 boys can't get enough of them!

Homemade Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
I just finished making these for a bake sale. I wanted something a little different but easy and quick. Besides being super easy, they taste amazing!! I used the Cream Cheese II recipe to cut down on the overall cream cheese flavor. If I could give this recipe 10 stars I would. Thanks so much for sharing!!

This was my first time making crabcakes. They were easy and delicious. I made them ahead and froze them so all I had to do was fry them on Christmas Eve. They were such a big hit, I'll be making them every Christmas! Thanks for a great recipe.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2003
I've made these several times now using tips from other reviewers. I replace the sugar with 1/2 cup honey and use 1/2 can of pure pumpkin in place of oil. I've made them with blueberries, raisins and craisins so far. It's an easy healthy breakfast and keeps me full until lunch. Even my kids love them!
