Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2013
Easy and delicious. I cut the recipe to 8 servings and it made the perfect amount to decorate a round cookie cake. I used 2% milk instead of evaporated because that's what I had on hand.

Waffles I

It was very easy, but a little bland. My family liked them so I will make them again. Would probably be good with fruit.

these are easy and very good. I followed the directions exactly. They took about 10 minutes in my microwave (sliced paper thin). I had no problems with them sticking. Great guilt free, healthy snack. Thanks for sharing!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2012
I had to make some adjustments due to dietary restrictions and ingredients at hand. I used 1 cup all purpose flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour, replaced the apple butter and vegetable oil with 1/3 cup pureed pears, cut sugar to 1 cup, used 2 whole eggs instead of 1 egg and egg whites and omitted the nuts. These were moist and delicious. I will definitely make these again, but will probably use a little less sugar as the fruit made it sweet enough for us. I don't think there is any way to go wrong with this recipe.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
I've never made brownies from scratch before but the reviews were so good I had to try it. These are AMAZING!! I only used 2 1/2 cups of sugar but kept everything else the same. So easy I'll be making these instead of the boxed from now on.

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
I used tilapia and panko because that's what I had on hand. Had some trouble getting the breadcrumbs to stick to the fish and at 500 degrees the breadcrumbs started to burn before the fish was cooked. Even with my problems, everyone loved it so I will definitely try it again.

Roasted Red Pepper Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
this could not be easier or quicker. I followed the recipe minus the mushrooms and tortellini since I didn't have them on hand. I added a few dashes of red pepper flakes and about 2 tablespoons of sour cream and it was delicious. This is a definite keeper - even the kids loved it!

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
delicious and so easy. I combined the seasonings with the olive oil and lemon juice. only used 1 lemon and after squeezing it put it in the cavity with a few slices of onion and a few tablespoons of the seasoning mixture. Also rubbed the seasoning under the skin. Covered with foil until the last 15 min. Then removed the foil and increased the temp to 400. Crispy skin and so juicy inside. Thanks for sharing!
