My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies
Trying to make injera (Ethiopian flat bread) based on a recipe I found on the internet -- I had no luck whatsoever cooking it without it ripping and tearing off my pan! The funny part was that I found out afterwards that our favorite Ethiopian restaurant actually makes a not-very traditional injera, and that we actually don't care for the real thing (which has a strong fermented taste). Maybe it was a good thing I can't make injera and we should keep going to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant.

Oriental Cold Noodle Salad
OMG - this was really good. My soba noodle instructions were to boil for 5min and then rinse with cold water. I made sure to use a good brand of Japanese rice vinegar (I have used store brand rice vinegar and have been disappointed in the past). This was a great recipe! Thanks for sharing.

Interesting recipe. Thanks for sharing. I served these along side butternut squash soup, and they were very well received.
