Sugar Coated Pecans

Easy & very tasty! Definately a keeper...just wish Pecans weren't so expensive.

I made these as suggested, then dipped them in Chocolate Almond Bark & inserted an almond into the center....just like the popular candy sold in stores - actually I think mine are better because the coconut is slightly cruntchy & toasted. Yummy!

Sugarless Fruitcake

The whole time I was making this I was thinking that it wouldn't taste sweet & that it wouldn't stay together, but it is sweet & it stayed together nicely. Tastes good! Kind of a lot of work but, quite yummy. I made 4 small loaves instead of one large one & reduced the cooking time to 25 minutes. I think they could've used 5 more mins or so...but quite tasty! Wonder how these would do shaped into bars like granola bars?

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This is a wonderful apple pie recipe - I used apples from our tree in the back yard (tiny Granny Smiths), took the suggestion of pouring most of the caramel sauce in the pie prior to placing lattice on pie then pouring the remaining 1/4 over the lattice once in place. Very Very tasty! Please do not make the mistake of cutting too soon....please, contain yourself & let the pie sit overnight to set properly. Heat in the microwave & serve with vanilla bean icecream. Delicious!
