Apple Honey Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
Made this for my first Rosh Hashannah, wanted something that mixed apples and honey. My family loved it, it was moist, sweet, delicious and very aromatic. I made a sugar glaze (confectioners sugar and water) to finish it.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Excellent marinade! I didn't have any limes in the house so I used a whole lemon. I also marinated thin cut boneless skinless cutlets because it was all I had in the house and I wanted to try this marinade. I baked the cutlets in the oven and then broiled them for 2 minutes and the end and they were soooo good! Excellent marinade, will use again :)

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
This recipe was great! I made it for my boyfriends family and they LOVED it. I doubled the sauce as recommended by others. I also doubled the garlic and put in lots of extra ginger and added in a chopped scallion because I happened to have one. I split the sugar and did 1/2cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown. Added a bit of red pepper flakes. I marinated the chicken for a few hours and then baked it and just cooked the marinade on the stove and basted the chicken a few times with it. This comes out sticky and saucy and YUMMY! I also threw in some skinless drumsticks that I found in the supermarket.

I added some tumeric and serve it with lemon juice. I also added quinoa to make it heartier...really good.

German Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
This was tasty but a little bit too intense. I think next time I would cut the spice a bit and use less vinegar.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
Much better than expected! Added fresh chopped tomato and sauteed some red peppers. Didn't have any fresh cilantro so I just skipped it.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2010
This was my first time ever making corned beef. Came out great in the slow cooker and it was so easy... I will never make it any other way.
