Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2003
Pretty good. The only way I will eat a blueberry is if it is in a mufin. I love the taste of blueberries but hate to actually eat cooked fruit in bread. Next time I will chop up the blueberries in a blender or food processor. This may be extreme, but other than that the flavor of the muffin was good! Dense and moist! Tasted kinda like cake. Tasted better than any store bought .

Brown-Eyed Susan Sweet Potato Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2003
VERY VERY GOOD! Everyone thought it tasted like carrot cake. My parents thought it would be better without the chocolate chips and to be honest....me too. I used a regular cream cheese frosting and it was so good!!! The only problem I encountered was locating a 16 ounce can. Every can was smaller or bigger and I had to guesstimate.

Clone of a Cinnabon

You'd have to try this to believe it! I do not own a bread machine nor have I ever usd one. To be honest, I have never even made bread!!! Boy was I nervous making it!! The smells were sooooo good! The taste was incredible! I'm already looking on a "pecan version". Thanks Marsha!!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2003
The taste was pretty good however it was too "meaty" for me. My husband LOVED IT!!!!!! This recipe takes work and I asked him if it was worth the wait and he nodded and grunted a "yes". This is extremely satisfying and HEAVY. Literally HEAVY. I do have to admit it is the best lasagne I have ever used.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

This recipe is pretty cloned and good. Look on thje back of the marshmellow creme jar. Never mind. Allrecipes.com will just delete that portion of my post (again).

My Pound Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2002
I really cant cook. There I said it. I was skeptical making this because everything else I make will sit there until I eventually throw it away or my toddler decides he'd rather eat SOME. This cake was GONE within two days. TWO days. I couldn't believe it came out of my kitchen. If you really want to show off, add a tablespoon of lemon extract, rum extract, butter extract, vanilla extract and coconut extract. I still can't believe this cake tasted that dayum good. And I can't cook (which my husband reminds me of in subtle ways)

Granny's Smothered Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2002
This wasn't very flavorful-at least not to me. I prefer to just fry my chicken (without a flour coating) and when it's done, add the potatoes, carrots, more seasonings and water. DON'T remove the chicken drippings!!! Not nice on the cholestrol but great on the tongue.

Cinnamon Sugar Butter Cookies II

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2002
Ridiculous! The entire batch was gone in 48 hours and my family only had about a good 6 cookies. Sigh. I ought to be ashamed of my self...

Pot Stickers Traditional

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2002
The actual filling inside the pot stickers was pretty tasty even though I used ground chicken. I altered the recipe by not marinating the meat mixture over night and adding a lot more ginger(diced fine), chili oil and sesame oil to the meat mixture for flavor for that very reason. Also added a little green onion. Delicious!! I will say it was a pain to make them and that whole fry/boil potsticker method did NOT work for me. Next time I will buy a bamboo steamer.
