Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II
This was EXCELLENT! Tasted very similar to the take out stuff. I liked this better because I know what's in it and I can control the oil. I did make a few minor adjustments. I cut down the pepper. A few turns of the pepper mill should do it. I also sauted some minced up carrot along with the onion. When adding in the chicken I added a minced up clove of garlic. At the end I threw in a handful of frozen peas. Very good chicken fried rice and I liked that it wasn't overloaded with salt like some of the other recipes I have tried.

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
I originally rated this with one star. However after adding to it, I went in and edited my review the day after I made this. After first making this hummus I found it to be quite horrible. It tasted nothing like hummus. Then after looking at some other recipes, hoping to find something to add to it, I realized it was missing a KEY ingredient....Cumin! I went home and added about 1 TB of cumin, let it sit in the fridge for a few hours and tried it again. Now it tastes like hummus! I also added a little E.V.O.O. to the food processor as well. I thought the basil was a little out of sorts but added it anyways. I didn't really think it added anything to the recipe though. If you make this make sure to add the cumin. It wouldn't be hummus without it!

Beer Bread I
Excellent recipe! I did however leave the beer out to get to room temperature before mixing in. I also baked this for 55 minutes and then buttered the top and put back in for another 5 minutes. Came out moist, delicious and flavorful!
