About this Cook
Mom with 2 boys. One with special needs and he is a very picky eater! Enjoy cooking when I have the time.
My favorite things to cook
Love to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Also enjoying baking but I am still practicing!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom and Grandmother grew up back east, so I try and stick with all the back Eastern recipes during the holidays.
My cooking triumphs
I do an awesome pot roast and banana pudding dessert!
My cooking tragedies
Well I do tend to burn some food, still working at that. That's because I get distracted with my youngest son. Some excuse eh?

Amish White Bread
Simple and very straight forward recipe for a beginning bread baker. Great for sandwiches and toast in the morning. If you follow the directions, you can't go wrong. Tip: use fresh active dry yeast.

Sweet Potato Casserole II
I myself truly loved this recipe for thanksgiving this year. My oldest son loved it. Not sure about other members of the family. I have one son who is Autistic and is very picky regarding food and texture. I found myself eating it as a dessert it one point. I did find though that the marshmallows on top were a bit chewy if not warmed up again.

Cranberry Sauce I
Simple and very flavorful! I had never made sauce from scratch before and it turned out wonderful. I will definitely make again.
