Kahlua Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
Easy and tasty! One thing... I assumed from the ingredient list the mustard was to be a jarred type mustard, however the instructions say dry mustard ( mustard powder? ) I certainly wouldn't use 1/2 cup of dry mustard, so I think the instructions are a typo. I used the jarred kind. The glaze was yummy, even used on a pre- cooked ham that I just heated and poured the glaze onto.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2014
I think this is going to be my new go-to enchilada recipe! I appreciate that the sauce stays on the inside so that the enchiladas stay rolled together and don't go mushy. I also really enjoyed topping it with the fresh ingredients like chopped tomatoes, sour cream and shredded lettuce. A yummy and easy dish. My father in law even asked if he could take home the leftovers! :D

Delicious and zesty! Even great to marinate chicken in, as well as on a Greek salad!

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
Made as is, but added raisins as well. The perfect oatmeal cookie... chewy on the inside, and crisp on the outside. Cook a little less if you want to keep them softer.

Simply Fudgy Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
This is a very simple, but delicious recipe... only uses one or two bowls... I didn't have to pull out my mixer. Needs the chocolate chips to give it enough chocolate flavor.

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
WOW! Made these for a potluck, and they were the first thing that went! I couldn't find corn tortillas in my grocery and didn't want to use flour tortillas because I thought they'd be too mushy, so I used tortilla chips instead. It came out great.

The Twenty Dollar Burger

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
We have made this burger several times already... it is so delicious! It's also a fun one to experiment with, adding new and unique ingredients. A word of caution if you experiment though.... my husband and I did find is that if you add too many 'wet' ingredients, the burgers won't stick together and become difficult to grill. Perhaps the addition of breadcrumbs or instant rice might combat this. Otherwise, this burger gets our stamp of approval! It is PACKED with flavor!

Lemon Poke Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
Sooo Lemony and sooo delicious! I used the lemon cake and lemon pudding mix. I also doubled the amount of glaze to go on top, and basically bathed it in glaze, letting it soak up into every inch of the cake! It turned out amazingly tasty!

Cheesy Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I tried this recipe on 2 separate occasions, and both times I was disappointed. (Maybe it just wasn't what I expected??) They didn't rise or get fluffy like I had hoped. They had the shape, look and consistency of an oatmeal cookie- flat, lumpy and chewy. On the up side, once you get past the texture, they did have a good flavor to them, so I don't think I'll give up on this one yet. At least, not without some more experimenting. I think next time I'll try a little less butter as well.

Strawberry Refrigerator Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
A very delicious, super-moist cake! I also took the recommendations of some of the other reviewers, substituted a golden cake mix, used applesauce instead of oil (1:1), and tried the white chocolate pudding mix. I also topped it with some white chocolate curls to decorate. It was a hit, and received many compliments and requests for the recipe!
