Excellent base recipe. I've tried so many potato soup recipes trying to find the one that meets my (admittedly exacting) standards. I think this is the one I will work with from now on! Next time I think I'll replace half the chicken broth with dairy in order to add to the creaminess, and perhaps make a roux to thicken it more to my liking. Very easy to make in a crock-pot too!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Quick, easy and delicious! I added some thinly-sliced baby carrots for some added nutrition. Will definitely put this in my rotation!

Mom's Ginger Snaps

These are great! I followed others' instructions and doubled the spices and they're just right. I might add a little more cinnamon next time. I'll definitely be making more of these!

Golden Potato Soup

FINALLY, a homemade potato soup recipe that I like! I'm a big potato soup fan at restaurants but I've tried and disliked several recipes I've made at home. I'm so happy to have one that tastes great and is so easy! I used bacon instead of ham, and sauteed the onion and some garlic in the drippings. I ended up having to add more water to the potatoes, but it was still thick and delicious. Next time I'm going to add some chives and leeks. Thanks!!
