Strawberries 'n' Cream Trifle

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
I tweaked the recipe a bit and my whole family wolfed this down! I used white chocolate pudding prepared according to the box and layered with sliced strawberries, whipped cream, angel food cake and white chocolate chips. I garnished the top with white chocolate dipped strawberries. Thanks for the recipe!

Eggplant Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
This recipe is a keeper for my family, the kids both scarfed theirs down before I finished making the other 2 for hubby and I! All the flavors mix very well. We are overrun with eggplant in the garden so I'm thrilled to find yet another fantastic way to serve it.

Mashed Potatoes with Fried Mushroom, Bacon, and Onion

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
DELICIOUS! I made these last night with a pork roast and green bean casserole and they were phenomenal! I used extra ranch and omitted the onions (family preference) and added some garlic and they were just wonderful. Thank you for the recipe!

Herb, Garlic and Bacon Pork Loin

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
My whole family scarfed this down. Here are the changes I made. I used all dried herbs and minced garlic but I rubbed the olive oil on the roast then seasoned it directly. I draped the bacon and then added the chicken stock with some more herbs mixed into it. I did not double the herbs, just divided them. I also used shallots instead of pearl onions and they were AMAZING, they were flavorful and still retained their "crunch" adding a lovely texture to the meal. I followed cooking temp/time exactly and followed a previous review to crisp the bacon with the broiler. FANTASTIC! The meat was juicy and tender and the seasoning was just right. We had this with bacon/mushroom mashed postatoes and green bean casserole...yummmmmm

Greek-Style Rib Eye Steaks

These were great, not my favorite though. The lemon juice does amazing things for the red meat.

What an interesting salad this turned out to be. I can't believe the difference in taste before and after toasting the almonds, it's amazing. I will be making this again.

Easy Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
This is the best asparagus I've ever had. I omitted the onions as neither my husband or I care for them, I also subsituted italian bread crumbs in place of the crushed crackers. It was esquisite.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
I made this for my husband for valentine's day dinner and he absolutely loved it as did I. I followed the recipe except I added a large pinch of brown sugar to the glaze. I also poured the excess glaze in small dipping bowls and it was all gone at the end of the meal!

The Best Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
I am totally in love with these mushrooms! I added the grated parmesan in with the bread crumbs after reading the reviews and I also dipped the bottoms of the mushrooms in olive oil before placing them on the foil. They turned out amazing.
