Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I had these at a party and had to get the recipe! I'm not a baker, so these are so easy and are honestly to die for! She recommends yellow cake & buttercream, which is what I made. Next time I'll also try red velvet with white chocolate outside. They are so good I gave them to my dessert-loving sister as part of her birthday gift. Seriously, so good. So so so good. And so easy! They are so pretty when done- people asked me if they were out of a candy box! Drizzle with contrasting melted choc. cover for effect. :) Thank you!

Vanilla Sauce for Waffles or Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
Add the sugar/cornstarch mix VERY small amounts, whisking in with a fork to avoid clumps. I accidentally added 1 tbsp. of vanilla and it was sooo good! I make this every Sunday with waffles and everyone goes crazy for it!

Asiago Toasted Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
SO Good and so easy! My friend also recommended substituting some of the mayo for ranch (just maybe a fifth) which tasted good. If you don't feel like spending a lot of money, you can use parmesan or mozzarella. Made as is, it's still really good though. Thanks! (I wonder what it would taste like with a few bread crumbs...)

Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
I love this recipe! It's so easy and as long as I remember to pick up some Knorr's vegetable soup mix, I always have the ingredients! I like to add a lot of peas and my boyfriend likes grilled chicken. I think some asparagus or broccoli might also be good. Thanks for a great recipe! I make it all the time!!

Portobello Mushroom Ravioli with Prawns

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
OMG SO GOOD!! I think this was the best meal I ever made. I added a little flour to thicken the sauce along with tomatoes. I left out the prawns and shrimp because I don't eat meat, but I think this would be great to marinade a chicken breast in for my boyfriend though...thoughts? Thanks so much for the amazing recipe!

Fettucine Carbonara

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Maybe I messed this one up-I tried making it twice.... I cooked it on low heat to keep the eggs from scrambling, but it kind of ended up tasting like pasta with eggs and bacon. It also took me much longer than 10 minutes to cook the sauce into the pasta, the eggs were still very runny. Which was still okay, but I couldn't get the sauce texture down! My boyfriend and I agreed- it was a 7.

Baked Fettucheesy

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Very good! I wasn't sure if it'd be bland, based on other reviews, so I added lots of parmesean cheese, minced garlic, salt and pepper. I really, really liked it! I would suggest adding grilled chicken, peas and spinich (or maybe even asparagus)to give it some more flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

Butternut and Acorn Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
So SO good! I also did not find it to be too rich, but I do have a sweet tooth. The cinnamon was a great touch-also adding sour cream at the end is a MUST! Use light cream cheese for a very healthy but very filling soup!
