Slow Cooker Red Curry Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2015
This is really good...I made it per the recipe and we were very happy with the spice level and crunch from the boo choy. My only complaint is that the curry was very runny and I was hoping for it to be a bit thicker. In any case, the recipe is very tasty! Enjoy!

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2014
Excellent! Great bit of heat with the jalapeño was just perfect to spice up a rather typical and yummy spinach and artichoke dip.

Tender Slow Cooked Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2014
For us, this was just ok, but I must say, it did grow on my husband and me as we ate through the meal. We both agreed it is too sweet to be a real winner and neither of us found it to be salty (although we used reduced sodium soy sauce). I added one large onion and 3 gloves of garlic at the beginning and paprika as others suggested. This only saved the recipe, so not docking points for these aspects not written into the recipe. We won't make again as is, but perhaps with reduced sugar and something else to make it more savoury.

Chef John's Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2014
This is delicious...the pesto like sauce is amazing. I substituted spinach for the zucchini. Far easier to make than it seems when skimming the directions.

This is indeed very, very good!! Topping does not taste great until baked on bread.

These were awesome!! I took the advice to pre-cook the bacon half way and assembled them ahead of time. They were a big hit and I will definitely make again!

Apple Goat Cheese Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2014
I really enjoyed these, but my husband did not like the apple/thyme combination. I used dry herbs and also drizzled honey on top right before serving. Delicious.

This is a nice recipe for a tasty butter cookie...like some others, I struggled to make the dough work in the cookie press.

Sweet and Sour Pork III

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2013
This recipe is awesome...best sweet and sour sauce (better than takeout) and I didn't even add the pineapple and juice. It was great as is. I added broccoli and served it over fried rice. Delicious and my husband who doesn't like sweet and sour enjoyed this recipe.

The dish is too bland, even with added red curry paste. I will definitley not make this again.

Deb's Spicy Beef Curry

This recipe is great and very straight-forward. Depending how thick you slice the beef (against the grain of course), it may need less time in the sauce.

Best Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
This recipe is ok...the flavor was a bit bland so I added some soy sauce to my plate. It seemed to get better the more I ate it. Seems like you could add lots of other stuff to your taste to enhance the dish. Perhaps it is a good starting point. Would also suggest a different soup would likely work as well.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
This is very good...tear the biscuit dough into small pieces so that it cooks thoroughly. I would encourage you to put the dough in sooner than the last 30 minutes. Could use some spices to jazz it up, but as is very good.

This is delicious...I halved everything but the spinach and omitted the crust. It was perfect and golden brown after the described cooking time.

This was super easy and very good. I just through in frozen (pre-cooked) chicken with the honey and soy sauce and it liquified nicely. No need to add oil. Very good.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This dip is delicious. I reduced the quantity of hot sauce by half and it still had nice zip. I also bought a rotisserie chicken instead of canned.
