Orange Cream Milk Punch
I used Breyers Natural Vanilla ice cream, Safeway brand Mandarine Tangerine sherbet, Hansens natural Mandarine Lime soda, and Horizon Organic Milk. It was super super yummy! I think if you wanted more orange flavor you could add a smidgin of orange juice concentrate but we did not find that necessary. What a great party treat!

Real Hummus
This recipe is essentially the same as Hummus III that has such high ratings... for instance 4 T lemon juice is the same as 1/4 cup. I use cumin and paprika, lots of fresh raw garlic and home-made tahini. Fresh lemon juice is the best, and I add a little citric acid at the end if it's not zingy enough and I want to keep the same consistency. Very easy making it with canned garbanzos, but a real cook would certainly soak dry beans overnight and either make raw-bean hummus or then cook them and do it traditional. I basically use a rough estimate of this recipe and Hummus III and then triple the recipe for a large batch.

Scottish Shortbread IV
Instead of dark brown sugar (which is just white sugar with molasses mixed back in), I use Rapunzel brand rapadura (unrefined sugar). The taste is phenomenal. For the coffee lovers in my house, I also add about 1/8 cup good-quality ground coffee (or more depending on the amount of dough I'm making) for Espresso Shortbread. This is the easiest and best-tasting plain shortbread recipe there is. DO NOT DIP THEM IN CHOCOLATE. (What's next, music? Explosives?) I have made them both ways with different types of chocolate and I always get unanimous votes in favor of the naked original. The espresso version is a killer knock-out variation.
