Caramelized Onion and Horseradish Smashed Potatoes

Authentic German Potato Salad

Broiled Grapefruit

I've never put butter on mine but I have been eating broiled grapefruit for years. This is my favorite way to make it. I just sprinkle it with the sugar cinnamon mix and put it under the broiler. This is the only way my granddaughters will eat it. Now that I take a Statin drug,it is a real treat for me because I only allow myself one a year.

Zucchini and Eggs

My mother used to make this when we were children. She would fry bacon and dice the zucchini and cook it in a little of the bacon grease "until the water went out of it" and put the beaten eggs in and stir. I made this for my children and now I am a great grandmother and still have wonderful memories of this dish. I think the next time I make it, I may add some of the ingredients suggested by some of the other reviewers.

Garlic Aioli

I boiled some small red potatoes to dip in this. My garlic cloves were quite large so next time I would use a bit less. I also "wooshed'" everything together in the vitamix..Yummy Thanks for sharing.

Bread Machine Focaccia

I found this recipe this morning and printed it and already made it for our lunch. Wonderful recipe but we don't like rosemary so I used a little coarse salt and some Asiago cheese on top. It has a little to much raw garlic taste so next time I will use just a little garlic powder but I definetly will make it again. Thank you for the recipe.

Chicken Marsala

I make Prime Rib for our annual Christmas Eve dinner but I have 3 in the family that don't eat beef so I was looking for an easy Chicken dish. I am so glad I found this one. It was the hit of the party even some of the biggest meat eaters ate just as much of this as the beef. I did use canned muchrooms because it was what I had Two of the guests have already asked for the recipe. Thank you for such a fabulous easy dish. Bonnie

I have been using this recipe ever since I found it a few years ago. It is definetly one of my favorites and one of the most requested each year. I just want everyone to know how easy and good this is. You can use other flavoring but the Anise is one of the traditional Italian flavors. Thank you for posting it and I'm sorry I took so long to rate it.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

This is fantastic. Ordinarily I wouldn't make any adjustments but I didn't have enough parmesan so I used half Romano. It still was great. I served it with some boiled shrimp and sliced tomatoes. The whole meal only took about 15 minutes. Thanks for a recipe that I will be making over and over.

Garlic Prime Rib

My Christmas Eve dinner was a grand slam because of this recipe. I served it with the Caramelized onion horseradish potatoes and my son and son-in-law both said it was the best prime rib they had ever had...Thank you for such a fabulous recipe.

Chef John's Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

I had a rotisserie chicken and threw the carcass and leftovers in a pot and made stock. I continued with this recipe and made the most wonderful tasting gravy. Everyone raved about it. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks Chef John.

This recipe is just like seeing an old friend. I have been making this for about 20 years. It was passed on to me by a friend. I think it is one of the most requested recipes I make. It is nice to know that even if I lost the card my recipe is safe here.

Christmas Red Pickles

I made these yesterday. I cut my pickles into spears and I didn't let them sit in the syrup overnight. I just canned them and put them in the waterbath. I figured they would be setting until the holidays anyway. It was all I could do not to eat the syrup with a spoon. Thanks for a great recipe. 9/3 Update..I made another batch and this time I cut them in 1/2 moons. They are even more beautiful then the first time.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

I took some of the suggestions from other reviews and used the muffin cups. Using what I had my quiche had onions, sweet red pepper, Aspergras, low fat Feta cheese and 96% low fat ham. I would not add the salt next time as he feta has enough. Would definetly make this again. You can use almost anything you have on hand.
